Throughout the Bible when God speaks, all too often he gets a question or a doubting response.
Many things seem impossible to our physical, shortsighted, carnal mind. We cannot see the greatness that is just beyond the next mountaintop because all we see is the mountain. All we can see is the struggle of climbing. We look up and can not see the top of the mountain, we just see that it is steep and the road ahead is tough.
But God has greater things for us. God has God size goals for each of us.
But we must do the work. We have to take action and do our part. Do all we can then get out of the way so God can get to work.
We must allow God to work in us, to work through us, and to work for us.
When God is allowed to work on us, through us, and for us we can achieve and become more than we could ever dream.
Set goals that seem impossible. Set goals that scare you. Spend time in the wilderness. Spend time praying. Listen to the still small voice of God. Take time to talk back-and-forth with God about what he needs you to do.
Then together with God set God sized goals.
Then we put our boots on the ground, get our hands dirty, and get to work.
That is when great things happen.
For nothing will be impossible with God.
“For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” – Luke 1:37
